A SQUAD of nine boys from Abberley Hall School were runners-up in the Malsis Seven-a-Side rugby competition in North Yorkshire.
There were 21 teams competing in this U-13 competition from all over the country.
Abberley Hall won all six games in their group - beating Malsis 10-5, Arnold GS 19-12, Belhaven 64-0, Feltonfleet 12-5, Fettes 22-0 and Barnard Castle 14-12.
The final was against Edinburgh, winners of the other group, who eventually won 26-12.
Since this event, the Abberley Hall boys have beaten Bromsgrove and Dean Close schools.
