COACH Ron Hobbs has warned Stourport must improve if they are to stay in Midlands Four West (South).
The town were promoted last season after finishing runners up in North Midlands One.
They won their first match in the new league but have lost two since, with Saturday's 24-10 home defeat to rivals Ledbury prompting Hobbs' warning.
It was a particularly bad result for Stourport as their opponents had been promoted as champions with them.
Hobbs said: "We did not take our chances on Saturday and we need to sharpen up if we are going to stay in this league.
"Ledbury have come into the league with us and they seem to have learned about the standard quicker than us.
"It is down to us to show more desire than on Saturday because it was a very poor display".
Richard Dorrell kicked Stourport's points, including a second-half penalty try.
