AFTER a Sunday afternoon crash in Franchise Street, Kidderminster, police found a driver was more than three times over the alcohol limit.
He had been breath tested in Blount Terrace, Foley Park, a mile away, magistrates heard.
Residents who saw his car out of control at speed had taken his keys from him and called police, said prosecutor Kiernan Cunningham.
Leighton Burgess, 25, of Broomfield Close, Kidderminster, was bailed for a report after he admitted dangerous driving in the accident, failing to stop and having a breath alcohol reading of 121, against the legal limit of 35.
