I AM writing re an article which appeared in the Stratford Journal on September 13 entitled 'Tips for keeping green when looking after home and garden'.
The article advised readers not to buy aerosols because 'they waste vast amounts of energy and are difficult to recycle'. In fact, studies that look at the amount of energy used by a pack from 'cradle to grave' show that aerosols are no different to other similar forms of packaging.
Aerosols are also recyclable, along with other metals packaging and we are working to encourage local authorities to include aerosols in their recycling schemes.
