Ten Wyre Forest children were set to meet some of their football heroes yesterday thanks to a project involving Stourport Rotary Club.
The youngsters, who all have learning difficulties, were due to take part in a football competition at the Aston Villa Leisure Centre in Birmingham, with Villa players, manager John Gregory and chairman Doug Ellis set to attend.
Rotary club president Pete Roberts said the project involved dozens of rotary clubs throughout the Midlands.
