Eight CCTV cameras will hit the streets of Stourport within a fortnight in a bid to stamp out mindless anti-social behaviour.
Firms in Bridge Street, High Street and Lombard Street have bought the £834 cameras which can produce images for court cases of vandals on wrecking sprees.
J and M Ready, M Bennett, Beard's, WH Grinnall, Mr Cleancall's, Outlook Finance, Acacia Mortgages and Mantons have bought the cameras - part-funded by the Stourport Business Association and Stourport Town Centre Management Forum - to end vandal attacks on shops.
