ATHLETICS: Members of Amazing Feet were torn between two local events within just 14 miles of each other.
The North Worcestershire multi-terrain event at Rubery - the 10th competition in the Inter-Club Race League - was held over eight miles of the Waseley Country park.
Eddie Sanders finished 15th, and second male over 50, in one hour 8 seconds with John Amos close behind in 1-1-24 and 19th.
Gordon Sims was 54th in 1-15-42, Richard Baker 65th in 1-17-6 and Heather Harrison completed her first race for a while in an excellent 1-34.
Amos still leads the league, receiving 10 bonus points for his 10th event of the year.
Sanders remains second with Chris Miles in third place. Baker moved up from eighth to fifth.
The next league event is in one week at Pattingham.
The 10-mile Treat multi-terrain race at Wolverley was postponed from March due to foot and mouth problems.
Lloyd Wright finished in 1-27-1, while Debbie Sault and Roger Canavan also completed the tough course.
Andy Norris chose to run at another postponed event from March, the Ironbridge half-marathon, completing the race in 1-39-20.
