ATHLETICS: Matt Vaux-Harvey proved the quickest in Kidderminster and Stourport Athletic Club's Treat Multi-Terrain 10-mile race.
The host club member recorded one hour two minutes 35 seconds, while both the men and ladies won the team prizes.
Ian Townsend was second club member in 1-7-12 for sixth overall, while Ken Morgan's 1-12-8 and Nick Brown's 1-15-33 ensured first place for the men.
Colette Maynard was the first lady to finish in 1-15-52 followed by Sue Howarth, 1-17-29, and Gillian Foote, 1-22-0.
The event was run from Wolverley High School.
Other finishers: Graham Amer 1-20-55, Louise Littlewood 1-24-47, Paul Lane 1-32-15, Roger Carter 1-32-16, Doug Lawrence 1-40-33, Mel Thompson 1-53-49.
In the Midland six stage relays at Sutton Park, Birmingham, two ladies' teams and five junior sides were in action.
The senior ladies As saw Maynard run 17-32, Liz Danks 19-34 and Liz Gould 16-30.
Nicola Harris completed the final leg in 18-44, giving them 11th place.
Littlewood ran the first and fastest leg, 18-52, for the senior ladies Bs.
Sue Morton, 24-0, Cora O'Mahony, 23-11, and Clarie Bennett, 23-55, completed the team.
Matt and Adam Grainger competed in the U-17 and U-15 men's races respectively in times of 12-57 and 15-44.
In the U-15 girls team, Fay Kitchen was fourth fastest in 8-41 with Alison Young, 9-17, Laura Easton, 9-24, and Liz Dourneen, 9-20, putting them in fourth place.
The U-13 boys of Aiden Dourneen, 8-48, James Humphries, 9-18, Jake Egginton, 9-43, and Louis Benton, 9-29, achieved eighth place.
And the U-13 girls of Charlotte James, 9-13, Kera Bennett, 10-32, Charlotte Berrington, 12-3, and Holly Lockwood, 12-2, were 15th.
