SWIMMING: Wyre Forest Swimming Club ace Amy Smith will represent the Midlands in an international competition in Luxembourg next January.
At the Braunstone Open Sprint meet at Rugby, talented Smith won three golds for the 14 years 50 metres butterfly, freestyle and backstroke.
She broke the meet records in butterfly and freestyle, while also smashing her own Worcestershire best in the latter stroke.
Hannah Wear took gold in the 13 years 50-metres breaststroke and four by 25-metres individual medley when she broke the meet record.
Wear also took home a silver in the 50-metres butterfly.
Emma Levitt won silver in the 13 years freestyle in a personal best time of just over 30 seconds, as well as competing in backstroke, breaststroke and individual medley.
Ellis Ward-Brennan just missed out on a final place in the 10 years 50 metres backstroke and also contested the butterfly, freestyle and breaststroke.
