A NEW office development in Redditch has been split into "bite-size" chunks to accommodate the increasing number of small and medium-size businesses in the area.

Osprey House, at Prospect Hill, can now be let by the floor or the half-floor, following research by owners Taylor Woodrow Property.

"Our original intention was to let the building to a single tenant but our research has shown that there is a lack of quality accommodation along the M42 in the 5,000 to 10,000 square feet bracket," said Taylor Woodrow Property's regional director, Graham Haydon-White.

"We've therefore decided to divide the space into bite-size chunks in order to meet this demand, together with still being able to offer the building as a whole."

The £5m Osprey House development contains the only 'new build' office premises in Redditch, according to the company, and is being marketed by the Birmingham offices of Knight Welch Bryce and Donaldsons.
