A BUDDING Byron from Studley has released his first book after 20 years of penning poetry.

Career adviser John Adair, 35, began writing poems at the age of 15 after being kicked out of his boy band for not being able to play the guitar.

Mr Adair, of Gunners Lane, has always had a love of writing and decided to donate the proceeds of his first book to the Alexandra Hospital's League of Friends.

The booklet, aptly named A Collection of Poems, includes poetry about relationships, childhood and depression.

For a copy of Mr Adair's book, which costs £2, call him on 66525 or 453809.
