REDDITCH Orchestra's first concert of the season takes place next week at St Stephen's Church.
The concert features local soprano and former student at The Leys Katie Leaver, who studied music at Manchester University.
Katie has also performed in many operas and operettas and sung with various groups including Astwood Bank Operatic Society, Worcester Gilbert and Sullivan Society, and Redditch and Bromsgrove Choral societies.
The concert, conducted by John Graham, also features the overture to The Marriage of Figaro, Richard Wagner's birthday greeting to his wife Siegfried Idyll and Beethoven's Fourth Symphony.
Performances begin at 7.30pm and tickets cost £5 or £4 (concessions) from the Tourist Information Centre, Alcester Street or on the door.
