LAST Saturday, in very windy conditions, the archery event in the 2001 Worcestershire Games took place at Arley, hosted by Wyre Forest.
Despite the wind, there were some good scores and the hosts, Wyre Forest, emerged as winners with 3,362 points. Redditch were second with 3,273 with Wychavon in third place with 3,258.
This weekend the cycling takes place, hosted by Redditch.
With just the cycling and the boccia to go, Redditch are in first place with 14 points, two ahead of Wychavon and Wyre Forest who are tied on 12.
