CHASETOWN hot-property Shaun Derry is Steve Daniels' main target as the Bromsgrove Rovers boss tries to piece together the final piece of his jigsaw.

Daniels has put seven days' notice in for the former Sheffield United youngster, who is said to be keen on a return to Nationwide League football.

Should that deal falls through the Greens manager will move for either Redditch United ace Scott Colcombe or former Bromsgrove star Mark Crisp.

If Derry does sign it will almost certainly mean an end to the transfer activity, for the time being at least.

"I know the target that I want to get but I've just got to be patient," said Daniels.

"If I get Derry I may not pursue the other two. We've got some good players here now and it's the best atmosphere at Rovers for a long time.

"But it's important that we remain unbeaten and keep winning matches. It's going to be a tight league and we've got some difficult games coming up."
