PRESIDENT Christine Crabtree welcomed members and secretary Judith Scott took the record.
It was unanimously agreed the birthday dinner in July, held at the Bull's Head, Inkberrow, was superb and enjoyed by all.
The outing in August to Eardisland was enjoyable despite late arrival due to an unavoidable detour and a ploughman's supper rounded off the evening.
A visit to the Palace Theatre to see Pirates of Penzance on November 21 is to be arranged.
The speaker, Mr Kettle, then gave an animated talk on Walking the Canals of the Midlands.
The meeting tonight will be the AGM at Woodrow Library at 7.30pm.
