A LODGE Park woman has been conditionally discharged for 12 months after pleading guilty to benefit fraud.
Donna Whyte, aged 28, of Aldington Close, appeared before Redditch magistartes on October 2 and was ordered to pay £341 compensation to Redditch Council.
She admitted failing to declare working as a chatline operative while claiming housing and council tax benefit in July 2000.
Magistrates told Whyte she had been given a 'lenient' sentence because of family and work commitments.
