POLICE at Redditch's south sector are appealing for witnesses after a woman's handbag was stolen while she was working at the Alexandra Hospital.
The woman was on her way to an office near Ward 5 to return her purse to her handbag.
She noticed two men running away down a corridor and minutes later discovered her handbag was missing.
The bag contained credit cards, cheque books and personal items and the theft happened at about 3.30pm on Friday.
One of the men was described as white, about 5ft 10ins and was wearing a blue jacket and sweater with a red pattern on the front. The pair ran off towards Woodrow Drive.
Witnesses can call south sector police on 584888.
