A reward has been offered for information after an Alvechurch jeweller was imprisoned, abducted, tied up and robbed, writes Becky Procter.
The victim's terrifying ordeal began at about 9.30am on Saturday, September 29, when he was jumped by masked men at home.
He was forced under a duvet for several hours before being bustled into a white van and taken to his business in Hockley, Birmingham, where a large quantity of gold was stolen.
The victim's insurance company, Lloyds of London, has offered £10,000 for anyone with information leading to the successful prosecution of those involved or recovery of stolen property.
Meanwhile, Redditch police have released CCTV stills from cameras outside his business in the Jewellery Quarter.
The vehicle used was a short wheelbase white Ford Transit, with a registration between M and X.
Det Insp Cullen said the van driver dropped off two main suspects and the victim at the factory outlet at about 6.50pm, drove away and returned about one hour later.
Anyone with information or who has been approached to buy gold or jewellery can call police on 584888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
