OLYMPIC 200 metre silver medalist Darren Campbell popped in to Aston Fields Middle School on Monday as part of the Drummond Road venue's sponsored day.
Campbell took time out of his busy schedule to chat and pose for photos with the 620 pupils.
The Great Britain athlete was there on behalf of Super Schools, who provide grants for up and coming athletes who have difficulty in funding.
Part of the money from the sponsored day will go towards staging and new kit for the school's football and netball teams.
