REDS chief Rod Laight described Tuesday's FA Cup win as 'very very important' to the club.
United bagged £7,500 prize money from the FA after Scott Colcombe's late winner over Gresley and with a bumper crowd expected for the home draw against Kettering on Saturday 29 they are expecting another big pay day.
"All clubs at this level live on a day to day basis," said the Valley chairman.
"With a hand to mouth existence the money is a filip to the club.
"It costs around £120,000 a year to run the club so we haven't won the pools but with gate, bar and kitchen receipts we are optimistic about the returns from the Kettering game."
