A REWARD of £10,000 has been offered after an Alvechurch man was imprisoned, abducted and robbed.

The abduction happened on September 29 at about 9.30am when the man was imprisoned in his house, abducted and taken to his business premises in Hockley, Birmingham, where the robbers stole a large amount of gold and jewellery.

The reward, which has been offered by the victim's insurance company, will be given to anyone who can provide information which leads to a successful prosecution, or any information leading to the recovery of the stolen property.

Bromsgrove police have issued CCTV stills taken from a camera outside the premises in the city's jewellery quarter.

They show what is a short-wheel base, white Ford Transit van, between M and X registered and one of the offenders dragging a sack believed to contain gold and jewellery towards the van.
