OLYMPICO'S midfield of Williams, Atkins, Wakeley and Dave Pritchard produced fine attacking football and created plenty of first-half chances.
Summer signing Andy West hit his first Olympico goal, then the lively Pritchard doubled the lead with a fine solo effort.
In the second half Darts fought back and deservedly equalised. Then, in a devastating 15-minute spell, Mark Houghton scored one and made another for joint man of the match West, who completed his hat-trick following an incisive pass from Aaron Tomlin.
Darts fought back again and beat man of the match Si Teare twice more, including one by the outstanding Gavin Ottley.
But Olympico hung on to give them and new manager James Hall their first win of the season. Alvechurch Darts Reserves scorers were Gavin Orr (three) and Gavin Ottley
