THE Fast Show's Simon Day will be making a one-night stop at the Palace Theatre next week as part of a UK tour of his brand new show.
The comedian's creations include the peroxide-and-permed pub know-it-all Billy Bleach, eco warrior Dave Angel and old time music hall legend Tommy Cockles, characters which have received nationwide recognition from BBC2's The Fast Show.
The second series of the multi-award winning show reached an audience of more than six million and walked away with the British Comedy Award for Best Comedy Series and The Writer's Guild Award for Best Comedy.
The show, which takes place from 7.30pm on Wednesday, October 17, follows Simon's last sell-out tour, the success of the London run of The Fast Show Live and his performance in the Oscar-winning movie Shakespeare in Love.
Tickets cost £11.50 or £10.50 (with Reddicard) from the Tourist Information Centre, Alcester Street, or the box office on 65203 or 68484.
