NINE members of staff are celebrating their long service to their company after clocking up 220 years of service between them.

Employees at PolymerLatex, in Stoke Works, will be celebrating with a huge party to mark the milestone.

Harvey Liddington and Alan Whitehouse, both shift supervisors, and Graham Reed, managing director, all joined the company 35 years ago.

Dicky Teal, team leader in distribution warehousing, and Paul Lacey, poly operator, both began at the firm 30 years ago.

And, with 25 years' loyal service, accounts assistant Bernie Tomkinson joined the company when she was just 17 as an office service clerk.

Andy Watkins, control systems engineer, Kevin Hill, chemical plant operator, and Phil Martin, recovery operator, have all worked at PolymerLatex for ten years.

Mr Reed, said: "Our joint parent company Bayer has invested its business in Bromsgrove for many years.

"It's amazing when you look back and see how much the company has achieved and that so many of our staff have seen its growth."
