THE formation is announced of Earl of Plymouth Estates, a private unlimited company with a capital of £300,000 in £1 shares.
The Earl of Plymouth, of Oakley Park, Ludlow, his younger brother, the Hon RAA Windsor-Clive. and Mr MCB Sayer, of Moor Place, Yateley, Hampshire, are directors.
Last April, it was announced that the Earl - the third to hold the title - was winding up Plymouth Estates Limited, formed in 1922 by his father, as a means of reducing death duties.
To raise this money, Plymouth Estates Limited had to borrow from the bank.
To repay the bank, they sold part of the estate property including 5,500 acres of land and Hewell Grange, near Redditch.
