Alvechurch presentation - Mr Ballard has presented a very handsome oak chair for use in the church.
It bears the legend 'Praise the Lord' and the sacred monogram.
The following inscription is engraved on a brass plate - Presented to the Church of St Lawrence, Alvechurch, by Henry Pratt Ballard, who for 20 years served as church warden MDCCCCI.
