A MOTHER and son have been fined £100 each and ordered to pay £250 costs after allowing their dogs to foul their own garden.
Jill Akers and son Paul, of Lightoak Close, Crabbs Cross, were found guilty at Redditch Magistrates Court on October 1 of failing to comply with an abatement notice from Redditch Council.
The notice required them to clean and disinfect their garden and remove waste on a daily basis.
They were served notice under environmental health laws after complaints from neighbours about the offensive smell coming from the garden earlier this year.
