WITNESSES are being urged to come forward by police investigating a violent incident in Evesham which left one man in a critical condition.
The scuffle started between 1.30am and 2am on Saturday, October 6, in the town's High Street and Avon Street.
A number of people were said to be involved, with two people receiving serious injuries.
Both were taken to hospital, where one remains in a critical condition.
"This was a serious incident which has left one young man in a critical condition," said Det Insp Dave Bartlett, of Worcester police.
"I'm appealing for any witnesses to this attack to contact us."
An incident room has been set up and witnesses should call 01905 723000, extension 4918 or 4983.
Three people appeared at Droitwich Magistrates Court yesterday, charged with offences related to the late-night incident.
A 23-year-old man was charged with common assault and making threatening words and behaviour, a 22-year-old man was charged with actual bodily harm, and a 17-year-old girl was charged with common assault, grievous bodily harm, and making threatening words and behaviour.
They are next due to appear in court on Wednesday, October 24.
