TEENAGE girls wanting to help the victims of the US terror attacks have got up on stage and danced in front of their schoolmates.
Fifteen-year-old Tammy Kellard organised the troupe of Pershore High School pupils after watching the horror unfold on Tuesday, September 11.
Last week nine of the girls took to the stage and danced their own routine to Pink's Hell Wit Ya in front of the Year 8 and 9 pupils.
The show raised £120, and tomorrow, the girls, who are aged between 12 and 15, will perform again for the Year 10 and 11 pupils.
"We don't care what everyone else might think, it's all for a good cause," said Tammy.
"It started off with just me and my twin sisters but then our friends wanted to get involved.
"We rehearsed all the time following the attacks."
Next week, they are due to perform in front of the sixth form.
"We're very proud that they wanted to do something rather than look away," said Clive Corbett, deputy head of the Station Road school.
"They're doing something practical which will benefit the victims."
The money will be donated to the fund set up by the Hereford and Worcester Fire Brigade.
