A HOME 3-1 win over Lye Town Reserves clinched Bewdley Town's first West Midlands League Division One South success of the season.
They bounced back from the previous week's narrow defeat by local rivals Brintons.
The game began scrappily and the visitors took the lead half-way through the first half when captain John Grainger headed past keeper Ian Harvey.
But the goal spurred Bewdley into action and after a good move the ball fell to Grant Gibbs, who stabbed home from close range.
Bewdley dominated the second half and took advantage of their superiority with goals from Paul Field and Matt Smith.
Field's right-foot shot gave the goalkeeper no chance and Smith celebrated his debut with a tap-in.
Fixture, Saturday: Hinton v Bewdley (players meet at the Wagon and Horses for 12.15pm).
Squad: Harvey, Osbourne, Harris, Ford, Middleton, Lawley, Hough, Hardiman, G Smith, M Smith,Turford, Field, Taylor, Riar, Stewart, Gibbs, Passey, Allsopp, Hyde, McCloughlan.
