TWENTY one doubles pairs competed in the first Charity Doubles Tournament held at Manor Park in aid of OXFAM.
Organised by Tennis Chairman, Jane Poynder, the tournament consisted of four groups the winners being: Red Group - Alison Tuck (Manor Park & Ursula Mason, Blue Group - Susan Davies & Jill Duffield, Yellow Group - Sally Jewell & Penny Stevenson and Pink Group - Rosemary Gallagher & Harriet Jewers.
Over £300 was raised for OXFAM and the tennis was followed by an excellent luncheon provided by Anna Paisley and Nicky Perrins.
