MANOR Park secured a place in the first round of the Travelsphere Top Club Championships, with a 3-1 victory at Overbury, after taking all but the fours in the preliminary round.
Junita Lyon had a close 21-20 victory in the singles, while Jean Meek and Ivy Foulkes had a 25-21 win in the pairs. Gill Lloyd skipped the triples team to a comfortable 18-10 victory.
Overbury rallied hard in the fours for a 24-17 victory.

Malvern Victoria went down 3-1 at Gilt Edge in the preliminary round after winning 24-16 in the pairs.
