THERE was double delight at Fladbury last Saturday when the villagers celebrated a brace of Worcestershire County League wins.

The first team scraped home by two wickets after dismissing Cookhill for just 112 with McLean (3-42), James Martin (2-12) and Revell (4-7) the chief destroyers.

Fladbury lost quick wickets after tea and looked set for defeat until Mytton's 37 helped stabilise a middle order and it was left to Michael Martin to steer his side to a narrow win.

The second string continued their improved form thanks to Steve Guy's best ever league analysis.

Guy recorded figures of 7-31 as Feck-enham slumped to 94 all out in reply to Fladbury's 178-6.

Pete Sudlow (68) and David Phipps (46) were the best with the bat after being asked to take first strike.
