I COMPLETELY disagree with the remarks made by B Nock (Letters, June 28) regarding the turnout of Wyre Forest voters in the General Election.

The facts speak for themselves.

On an above-average turnout, approximately 28,000 voted for Dr Taylor, while only 19,000 voted for his three opponents.

According to the television news Dr Taylor had the largest majority of any MP in the present Parliament.

I don't see any other way of expressing it than "fantastic".
