NEARLY 100 players took part in Captain's Day at Wyre Forest Golf Club with competitors from the men's, seniors', ladies' and junior sections.
The event, held by John Gregg, was a Stableford competition with a barbecue at the end.
Outstanding scores of the day were scored by Scott Wilson, winner of the junior section with 48 points, and Tim Price, winner of the men's contest with 44.

Senior: David Cope 38, Bill Higgs 36. Junior: Wilson 48, Paul Marchent 36. Ladies: Dawn Gregg 34.

Dawn Gregg hosted Lady Captain's Day when the format was a nine-hole Texas Scramble.
Result: 1 Gregg, Paula Wood and Jane Palmer; 2 Sue Bradley, Ann McIntyre and Mary Christopher; 3 Val Bow, Pat Bowater and Pat Farr.
