KING Charles I High School pupil Steve Parker travels to Exeter today to represent the county in the English Schools Athletics Championships.
Parker was selected for the junior boys shot putt after a personal best of 12.24 metres at a recent competition.
Lynn Payne and Paul Gripton, from Stourport High School, are team managers for the 22-strong county team.
The athletes stay in university halls of residence in Devon and compete over two days at the big event.
