A STUDENT at the college attended by murdered French teenager Celine Figard has arrived in Worcester on a scholarship.
Christelle Mougeot, aged 20, who studies at Lyce le Grand Chenois, was awarded the two-week visit by of the Kingsway English Centre to develop her English.
The scholarship is offered every year by centre owners Sue and Rick Johns to a student from the college who shows an aptitude for English.
Celine's body was found off the A449 near Worcester, in December, 1995.
Mr Johns said Christelle seemed to be enjoying the course.
Her hosts, Ann and Tony May, of Droitwich Road, Worcester, have welcomed students since the scheme's launch in 1997.
They take each student to St Andrew's Church, in Ombersley, to see a memorial to Celine and a dedication to English schoolgirl Caroline Dickinson, who was murdered in France.
