A STOURPORT-on-Severn company has been celebrating achieving a prestigious industry standard.
Helix Ltd was awarded the ISO14001 Environmental Management standard through top accreditation body SGS as a result of a new management system installed in the company.
The new system was the result of expert advice from the Bishops Wood Environmental Centre and Worcester College of Technology's Management Centre in CrownGate.
In addition to training in environmental awareness for the workforce, management consultancy and systems support, the collaborative project saw Helix's quality and environment manager Mohammed Hanif enroll on the pilot environmental management course currently running at the college.
