WE are informed that if the Conservatives win the election we shall be losing our £200 fuel allowance, our free TV licence and our £10 Christmas bonus, a total of £319 equating to £6.13 a week.
We are also told that the Conservatives would increase our weekly pensions.
Even if they do not keep their word, as few politicians do, I consider it a fair price to retain our sovereignty and the freedom for which we fought in two world wars.
