MEMBERS of Avon sailing Club at Chaceley Stock are celebrating having received a grant of nearly £5,000 from the National Lottery Awards for All programme.
The grant will enable the group to purchase three more boats and train further instructors for their training programme, which runs on Sunday morning.
The club will be holding two open days on June 2 and 16 when experienced sailors and instructors will be on hand to take you out. The grounds are ideal for picnics and barbecues.
