NOT since the mercy killing of 'New Space' (a funny thing happened to it on the way to the Forum) have the pages of the Malvern Gazette carried so ridiculous a word as QintetiQ, the new name for DERA.
May I suggest that your paper throws open the challenge to readers to think up publishable acronyms based on this linguistic monstrosity. Obviously they could start with Quite Idiotic Name ...
