THE prize winners at the village hall fortnightly whist drive were; Joan Palmer, Mary Russell, Mrs M Halling, Brenda Errington, Nancy Devereux, Olive Timme, Gill Ivin, Audrey Evans, Audrey Peters, Peter Bullock, Derrick Crook, Malcolm Harley, Philip Warner, Eryl Williams. Next whist drive is Wednesday June 6, at 8pm. I should like to take this opportunity of thanking those who have stepped into the breach, buying the prizes and organising the whist drives during my stay in hospital and while I convalesce. Many thanks for all the get-well messages I have received.
