STARS of the silver screen dominated the parade when Pershore Carnival swept through the town on Monday.
The event, which was highlighted by the procession through Broad Street, ran this year with a Celebration of Cinema theme.
Among the floats gracing the parade were Mary Poppins, Wizard of Oz, 101 Dalmatians, there was even a float with an Oscars ceremony.
Other events that took place included a dog show at Abbey Park, surf simulators, a field gun competition and Cyril the Squirrel and his racing terriers.
Carnival organiser, Derek North, said: "The carnival went absolutely brilliantly, it was a fantastic day. About 25,000 people attended and I have never seen Pershore so full."
