Pershore II v Bewdley II
IN this Worcestershire league match Pershore were put into bat on a good batting pitch and openers Graham Rushin (68) and Dave Wickersham (64) put on 132 runs for the first wicket.
Good support from 15-year-old Rob Handley (31) and Alan Davies (28) enabled Pershore to reach 246 for the loss of six wickets. In reply Bewdley were well placed at 137-2, A Robinson top scoring with 76.
Steady bowling and fielding slowed the scoring rate and Bewdley finished on 210-6 for their 50 overs. Pershore gained a winning draw.
