Judges at the nation's premier dog show found the five-year-old black labrador cross to be the best of the twelve entrants, including several border collies, in the Kennel Club Junior Organisation Agility Display Event. It involved her completing two courses.

Penny Black and her owner, 15-year-old King Charles I High School student Holly Davies, of Chaffinch Drive, train with Kidderminster Agility Group and have been entering competitions for three years.

Holly's mother Fiona said: "Crufts is a big event so this is a great accolade."
