THE Rubery half marathon is back again this year to celebrate The Bournville Village Trust Centenary.
The run starts at 10am at Rubery Leisure Centre, Holywell Lane, on Sunday July 8.
Slow, fast and first-time runners are all welcome to take on the challenging two-lap course over the Lickey Hills. The terrain is mainly road with a small section of trail.
Centenary events include music, tennis, junior five-a-side football and a craftfair, all from 2pm.
There will also be a bouncy castle for kids and many other attractions, while refreshments will be available throughout the day.
