THE West's dismal home record continued when they carried on from Tuesday night's game against Porto-bello by again missing numerous chances.

WEST MALVERN 2, FOX & GOOSE 4

The game had a disastrous start for the West as they conceded a goal in the first minute. Although they settled down they drew level when Mike Dean blasted home from close range.

They continued to mount pressure and went in front when Jamie Dean scored. The half continued with the West continuing to miss easy chances and they paid dearly when Fox & Goose equalised.

In the 44th minute the Fox went in front when their centre forward scored from close range.

The second half followed the familiar pattern of the first with the West creating chances only to miss them and they suffered again when the Fox and Goose centre forward completed his hat-trick when he ran free to score.

As hard as the West pressed they could not get back into the game.

PLUMBERS ARMS 5,

WEST MALVERN 2

ON Tuesday the West played a rearranged fixture with Plumbers Arms and went in front after five minutes when Lee Tracey's shot was deflected past the keeper.

As in the previous two matches they continued to miss chances and Plumbers came back to score. With five minutes of the half remaining Plumbers went in front.

The second half was a disaster for the West as within ten minutes the Plumbers scored three more goals through atrocious West defending. Although they managed to pull a goal back through Will Hardy they were always going to lose.

Tomorrow (Saturday) West are at home to Spetchley Harriers, kick-off 2pm and on Tuesday they finish their fixtures with a home game to Oak Apple, kick-off 6pm.

The West are sponsored by Amey and would like to thank Duncan at the Nags Head for his hospitality.
