COLWALL CC recently fielded its first girls eleven against Alvechurch on Ghost Meadow.
The age of the opposition was slightly older, enabling them to strike the ball hard. This was reflected in the final result with Alvechurch winning by 30 runs. Emma Smith took the only Colwall wicket and Jenny O'Toole was top scorer.
This season Colwall have seven pairs matches to play in the Worcestershire Girl's Cricket League's Michael Parkinson Bowl U17 Competition.
