Carol, 12 years a county councillor for Severn Division, has led Worcestershire County Council for the last four years.

She speaks with experience in behalf of Stourport people.

As a governor of Tan Lane and Windmill First schools she supports the Labour Government's drive for higher standards in reading and maths.

She believes extra funding to reduce class sizes for five to seven years-olds is making a real difference.

Carol has helped achieve more nursery provision in Stourport.

As a board member of the Wyre Forest Primary Care Trust she is committed to improving health and social care for local people.

Resident in Stourport for 25 years, Carol is also a town councillor and has worked hard for an improved town centre and continues the fight for a much-needed relief road.

She says: "Stourport is doing well under Labour - let's keep it that way!"
