A chief inspector is returning to Kidderminster Police 15 years after leaving the Wyre Forest area.
Steve Pooler has returned as the Chief Inspector for Support after spending the first nine years of his police career at Kidderminster, before leaving in 1986 to take up a Detective Sergeant post in Droitwich.
Since then he has worked at Bromsgrove, Redditch, Worcester and Ludlow police stations.
Mr Pooler is a lifelong Kidderminster Harriers fan and can be seen in the Bill Greaves stand on matchdays.
